SOS Children's Villages is an international non-governmental social development organisation that has been active in the field of children's rights and committed to children's needs and concerns since 1949. In 133 countries and territories our activities focus on children without parental care and children of families in difficult circumstances.

Today SOS-Kinderdorf International has* 518 SOS Children´s Villages, 392 Youth Facilities, 229 Kindergartens, 186 Schools, 58 Vocational Schools, 575 Social Centres, 72 Medical Centres and 13 different Emergency Aid Programmes. SOS Children´s Villages Finland is an independent member of SOS-Kinderdorf International.
